Louise Waugh

Louise studied etching in Spain at La Fundacion de Rodrguez Acosta, Granada. On her return to England she became a member of the Bristol Print Workshop where she worked for several years. Louise now works from her studio set in a cider orchard at the heart of rural Somerset.

Her love of the countryside, whether locally or abroad, is the dominant subject matter of her work.  She travels widely collecting images and memories that are worked up in the quiet of her studio.

The bright and vibrant nature of her work makes it ideal for reproduction whether for mass media or for private limited editions.  Many have been licensed to date.
