BURGLARY 11th MARCH 2009
Over 160 items were stolen, the work of 25 artists. This is not a complete list of work taken but shows, in some cases, actual images of stolen work or images representative of the artists style. For a complete list of stolen work please click this link to a pdf file. Last updated 03/04/2009 11:20.
If there is a "*" before the artist's name this indicates the image is not of the stolen work but representative of the artist's style.

These tow paintings were stole. "The Ink Jet Printer" and "Betony Farm Gate". Unfortunately we do not have very good images of the stolen work.

The painting stolen was "Bluebell Wood" in a heavy gilt frame

*Mary Hickling
Mary had 4 paintings stolen, all painted on silk

Marilyn Allis
"Goodwood Revival" (very similar to this image), "Donkeys Exemouth" and "Acoustic Guitar" these are a small sample of Marilyn's work which was stolen. We had just taken delivery of over 30 new pieces most of it was taken.

Nick's work is quite distinctive. The paintings stolen were "Myrama" and "Witara" both Acrylic on Canvas
Margaret Johnson
These images are very similar to the work stolen. The left image shows a quantity of 6 square glass dishes. Margaret creates individual Collages fired onto glass objects

Ellie lost 2 small oils. One depicting a Pheasant the other a Badger

hey are approximately 70cms wide. "Fun by the Riverside", "Venice By Night", "Wings & Sand Dunes" & "French Cafe IV"

This bronze figure of "Anna"stands approximately 18cms high

Puppie with Snail sculpture approximately 25cms tall

The paintings above were stolen plus 3 Giclee prints. The work above is in Acrylic & Pastel, framed with glass. They are approximately 60 cms high.

Michael creates these lovely small bronze figures of animals. The 50p gives an idea of the scale. Altogether a total of 62 of these where stolen in 20 different designs.
Zak
Two distinctive works, gold leaf on relief - "Up in the Trees" and "In the Woods". They measure approximately 50cms square.

Una lost 2 very detailed paintings of trees in woods. Approx 70cm h

Marian lost 4 Watercolours, the 3 shown above, "Instant Makeover", "Raindance" & "Sardines" as well as "After Sunset Merrily". They were all framed and measure approx 36cm by 55 cm high.
