Sue Masters

Born and raised in Somerset Sue draws much of her inspiration from the farmland of the Mendip Hills and the tranquil Somerset levels.  Sue has been producing her pottery animals, mainly in a naïve style for 10 years.  Working in earthenware and using a variety of glazes and smoke firings, she gives the pieces dignity, coupled with a sense of humour.  Much of her craft has been learnt by trial and error, but now with a complete studio to work from she has mastered the recreation of charm in familiar creatures
