Pippa Hill is from rural Dorset, where she grew up surrounded by farm animals and pets.

Pippa bought her first kiln in 1985 and quickly established herself as a successful professional ceramic artist. Her animal sculptures are extremely well observed and she works with an understanding and knowledge born of a lifetime's love of nature and the countryside. Her work is infused with a fascination for her subjects and her material.
