Ray Malone
Ray was born in Malta. Apart from an A-level art course and a further experimental course at the Working Men's College he is entirely self taught. He began drawing 'seriously' as a teenager, mostly portraits in pen or pencil, and continued to draw and paint for the next thirty years.
He left full time employment in 1989 and decided to devote himself entirely to art. Since then he has worked continuously, producing a large body of abstract paintings and drawings, mostly using acrylic paint.
He has exhibited extensively throughout the country over the years including the Royal Academy. His work can be found in private collections in the UK, Athens, Paris, Munich, Boston and Washington
